Maureen Orth
Our featured speaker, Maureen Orth, is an award-winning journalist, a Special Correspondent for Vanity Fair Magazine, and the founder of the Marina Orth Foundation, which promotes advanced learning in technology and English at The Marina Orth School (Escuela Marina Orth) in Medellin, Colombia as well as a second rural school outside the city. Orth first helped to build her namesake school in the sixties as a Peace Corps volunteer. (http://www.maureenorth.com )
