Anna Quindlen: 2010

Anna Quindlen, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, and best selling author, began her career at the age of 18 as a copy girl for the New York Post. Later, at the New York Times she became the third woman in the paper’s history to write for its influential Op-Ed page. Quindlen has authored numerous books providing insight into issues ranging from literacy and education, to work and social justice, to medical ethics and family values.
