Emma recently graduated with her Masters in Social Work, and is pursuing a career in LGBTQ+ and juvenile justice. She has spent the past two years working with trans youth, and advocating against the School-to-Prison Pipeline in Richmond, VA. Emma also provides wilderness therapy for at-risk youth in the Richmond area. She graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University in 2012 with a degree in political science. After graduation, Emma moved to New Orleans to work in food access and juvenile justice, before returning to Virginia for graduate school.
