Jessie graduated from MIT with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with concentrations in International Development and Economics. During her time at MIT, she was involved with Sigma Kappa, student advising, and FSAE, a motor sports club working to build an electric competition racecar. She also traveled to Indonesia to help Mercy Corps with technical evaluation and analysis of tofu and tempeh production and Zambia to help design a low-cost charcoal cooking stove. In addition, she served as a Strategic Innovation Group Intern for Booz Allen Hamilton. Now Jessie is working in Lusaka, Zambia for IDinsight which helps social sector practitioners generate and use evidence to amplify impact.
